Library
The College provides access to a wide range of reading materials in our library which is
located on the ground floor of the Nora McNamara Building. The College virtual learning
environment (Moodle) offers students the choice to access material such as lecture notes
and other academic resources either from home or whilst at the College.
Computing & Information Services
All students at HSI have access to an extensive range of networked computing facilities,
which are constantly upgraded to incorporate the latest computing technology. Every computer has access to the most up-to-date programmes available including use of the mostrecent versions of word processing software, spreadsheets, presentation software, accounting systems, programming languages, development platforms, HTML generators and access tothe internet. WIFI Internet access is also available to students.

Glen Anderson, Director of International and Professional Studies, together with Kate Donnelly, Director of Studies, HSI English Language School look after the particular needs of all international students. They can provide assistance in the areas of student admission and application, the study visa process, the co-ordination of new student arrivals and the arrangement of student accommodation.

• A comprehensive induction programme is held for all students prior to course commencement.
• Photocopying and printing facilities are also available in the College.
• Learners can avail of seminars focusing on areas such as study techniques, essay writingskills and examination preparation.
